The Research Box, examined the issue of increased tree planting in three areas with different historical backgrounds, including a moorland setting, the National Forest and the North East. Our research design involved participants’ videos of their woodland experiences and focus groups with tree planting games to gain insights into public attitudes towards landscape change, design and future possibilities.
