The Research Box has assisted many local authorities and delivery partners to conduct research and consultation amongst local residents, service users, businesses and special-interest groups
Public consultation and research
Over the past sixteen years, The Research Box has carried out more than 70 research and consultation studies for local authorities and service-delivery partnerships
Topics have included: budget consultation, community planning, corporate strategy, home fire safety, land-use planning, road safety, secondary education, and waste and recycling - amongst many others
Many of these studies have been carried out with hard-to-reach and special-interest groups. We have the experience to understand and interpret the needs of BAME communities; disability groups; children, older people, younger people and students; patient groups; various road-user groups, including young 'at-risk' drivers
We also have experience of interviewing council members and officers, as well as senior stakeholders within the local community
Our team of consultants has the reputation for carefully-conducted research and consultation in often sensitive circumstances
